Description

We are a small family owned and run cottage rental business. We love these homes, use these homes and enjoy sharing with kind travelers. Over the years we have rented cottages and rented to many many guests. We work hard to give personal attention to guests. And we have worked to make the cottages welcoming and easy to use for all. We make a point of making your stay hospitable. No matter if you are ice fishermen in February or a Family in Aug. we want to make it GREAT!

Neighborhood

Rural and lovely these cottages area tucked into a quiet little cove on Lake Ontario. Peaceful and rural we are blessed to be surrounded by parkland of Beachwood State Park. The main industry is fruit farming and farm markets dot the country roads. Beautiful and natural surroundings yet a short drive to Sodus Point NY a small port resort township. Easy to enjoy Sodus Points Sandy public beach, lighthouse museum, marinas for boat rental/or rides, and restaurants on the water.

Access

The entire home is for your use including the porch with rockers, deck w/grill and yard w/firepit, horse shoes, picnic table. But the best is walk right out into the state park on the water OR use the waterfront beach for cottages, walking a short distance.

Space

Relax at this unique and tranquil Natural getaway! Inside a State Park with waterfront Access. Swim or launch your kayak, enjoy the sunset or hike out your back door into the State Park Trails. Up for more activity- Lovely port town of Sodus Point about 3-4 miles away with its Public Sandy Beach, playground, pier to hike out and lighthouse museum. Enjoy dinner at a waterside restaurant decks in Sodus Point. Launch/rent boat, visit the great farm markets ! The possibilities are endless!

Transit

A car is necessary to visit this rural location. Driveway space is limited so ridesharing/carpooling with friends or family is advised. The driveway can hold 2-3 max. Boat trailers are possible here, but please let us know ahead.

Notes

Sodus Point is a lovely Port town and 3-4miles away is so much with a sandy public beach, marinas, lighthouse museum, ice cream/shops and restaurants on the water to enjoy a waterview with your meal. We are dog friendly and so is much of Sodus Point. Walkable, charming and friendly.

A lovely family of 5 owns this home but as the 3 kids have grown to adults they find they are using it a less and are now open to sharing.

I at Ferryland Cottage Rentals run a little hospitality and cottage rentals business and rent my other 2 cottages (one mine one my sisters) here. We do love these homes, use these homes and enjoy sharing with kind travelers. I care take and rent the cottages here and this is the most recent as of 2022 and have been renting here since 2008.

Over the years we have rented many cottages and rented to hundreds of guests. We work hard to give personal attention to guests. And with the owners have worked to make the cottages welcoming and easy to use for all. Ferryland Cottage rentals (thats me Jan) will make a point of making your stay hospitable. No matter the reason for your trip we want to make it GREAT!

House Rules

Occupancy beyond guest booked incur extra charge

Quiet hours after 10pm

Dogs pay $50 (max 2 dogs), please pickup after in yard, Crate when not with you in home

NO Smoking of any kind inside the house. Outside only!

Exterior Cameras on the outside

Access to waterfront is at the cottage association community waterfront lot only and in State Park waterfront.

Use of bunk beds is not suitable for all guests and is at own risk.

Cancellation Policy

If the booking is cancelled before 15:30, 30 day(s) before check-in it is free of charge, less than 45 day(s) before check-in the charge is 50% of total
