OAK Cottage is the newest of our Lakefront cottages. With great views from inside, 83ft. of lakefront, a state park in your backyard, hot tub and more, your sure to have a great stay! Whether you’re ice fishing in February or enjoying a family vacation in August, our goal is to ensure your stay is nothing short of fantastic! Nestled on the shores of Lake Ontario, our cottages enjoy a remote and picturesque setting. With a large lot, breathtaking sunsets, and ample space, our little cluster of cottages is completely encircled by the untouched wilderness of New York State’s forever wild parkland.
The Ferry family has cherished this cottage for almost four decades. Initially owned by Grandma and Grandpa until their passing in 2010, it was bequeathed to my siblings and me. Over time, we acquired more cottages in the vicinity, becoming owners who not only share among ourselves but are excited to welcome YOU!

Neighborhood
Rural and lovely these cottages area tucked into a quiet little cove on Lake Ontario. Peaceful and rural we are blessed to be surrounded by parkland of Beachwood State Park. The main industry is fruit farming and farm markets dot the country roads. Beautiful and natural surroundings yet a short drive to Sodus Point NY a small port resort township. Easy to enjoy Sodus Points Sandy public beach, lighthouse museum, marinas for boat rental/or rides, and restaurants on the water. Only 3 miles from Sodus Point recreation center but what is different about this property…
Incredibly Natural, Beautiful and Peaceful setting. Giant Pines border the enormous property. Along with an empty field on one side. Located directly on the a small cove on lake Ontario. Lots of space. Lovely hikes into Beachwood State Park.
Access
We are approximately a 1 hour drove from Syracuse NY or from Rochester NY Airports. A car is necessary and best to use a GPS for arrival. We are rural and beautiful with Direct Lakefront access and a state park in your backyard. You can enjoy the entire home, the backyard– Beechwood State Park (check our guidebooks for the private path to the state park from the homes), and the surrounding area.
Space:
Independent neighborhood of small lake-homes.
Bald & Golden Eagles and Herons fly over cove and nest in state park and point. Take a short hike to Beaver Dam. Great for Kayaks and Canoes along edge and into Maxwell creek area.
Tons of space, Cottage has huge yard. Directly on,easily accessible beachfront. Cove and Maxwell Bay/creek make small craft boating as well as swimming lovely.
Located on Lake Ontario ½ mile from nearest paved road. Over 100 feet of beachfront in your front yard. State park lands in your back yard. Wild, natural, secluded and peaceful.
Sit on one of two decks under huge maple, hemlock, and aspen trees and gaze out at Lake Ontario. Swim, boat and fish from hundreds of feet of secluded beachfront. Or hike in the ‘back yard’; hundreds of acres of woods and orchards wild state lands featuring nesting bald eagles and Beaver pond.
Launch or rent a power boat at Sodus Bay recreation area (2 mi) or drive to Rochester or the beautiful Finger Lakes (@30 mi).Fishermen will delight in Salmon, Steelhead, Rainbow Trout, Brown, Trophy Lake. Lake Ontario and Sodus Bay are known for prize winning Bass, Walleye and Perch. Birders will love the Bald Eagles, Blue Herons, swans and hummingbirds.
Transit
A car is necessary to visit this rural location. There are two or three gravel parking spots provided. And plenty of flat grass right next to the gravel to fit more cars. Boat trailers etc. we have unusually large lots and space for a cottage lakefront property.
